E*TRADE Financial is seeking a Vice President to lead our Client Segments team.  This critical team is responsible for deepening engagement between E*TRADE and its customers.  



  • Drive the strategic agenda for Client Segment engagement, including overall vision, strategy and plans
  • Leverage deep knowledge of key segments to effectively acquire, grow and retain customer accounts and assets through the development of winning value props and relevant delivery
  • Expand the Client Segment engagement model, addressing discrete stages in the lifecycle with relevant marketing strategies (ongoing relationship management, loyalty-building and retention) across all touch points



The successful candidate will be a seasoned marketing executive with a minimum of 15 years of marketing experience with a rich history of success in leading high performing teams.

  • Passionate about financial empowerment, with knowledge and experience in a key vertical (investing, trading, lending or banking).
  • Expertise in developing and implementing CRM programs, including lifecycle, cross-sell, upsell and retention, preferably in financial services.
  • Proven track record driving revenue growth profitably and reducing churn through effective marketing programs.
  • Customer-focused marketer and leader who can draw out the critical insights needed to build winning value propositions and effective plans to influence and change behavior.
  • Strong financial/analytical skills required, critical thinking skills and strategic ability, including development of business plans in changing circumstances.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills and must be results/metrics-driven.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills, must be able to work effectively within a matrixed organization to influence and drive results with key business partners, internal and external, and in a highly visible role.
  • Strong sense of urgency and a desire to innovate and challenge the status quo.
