RESPONSIBILITIES

SUMMARY

 

The Operations Analyst role involves investigating and remediating customer payment related disputes and payment settlement functions. Analysts will partner with E*TRADE customer service organization to research and resolve payment related inquiries and escalations. This role requires high attention to detail and working under strict deadlines to remain compliant with payment regulatory deadlines.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Additional responsibilities and oversight will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Investigate debit card disputes, check adjustments, chargebacks and payment disputes
  • Reconcile all payment related settlements and research breaks or discrepancies in accounts
  • Collaborate with internal business partners and service groups
  • Identify and deliver process improvements to increase productivity, control, and enhance the client experience
  • Maintain service levels and process all requests within regulatory deadlines
  • Meet productivity targets and quality benchmarks
  • Strengthen controls used to mitigate risk and ensure satisfactory internal and external audits
REQUIREMENTS

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong organizational skills and an attention to detail
  • Well-developed verbal and written communications skills
  • Financial Service industry experience a plus
  • Strong analytical skills including ability to research, schedule, analyze and present findings
  • Must be a dynamic and self-starting individual, able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Excellent teamwork, communication and partnering skills
  • Willing to go above and beyond to ensure customer and regulatory needs are met
