E*TRADE is looking for a Sr. Manager of Workforce Management for the Technology group who will have oversight and responsibility for the technology labor force – including Employees, Contractors and Consultants.

This position can sit in any of the following locations: Jersey City, NJ Alpharetta, GA Arlington, VA Chicago, IL or Menlo Park, CA.


* Across the Technology Labor platform and include oversight of: Budgeting, forecasting , predictive analysis, headcount MIS ( FTE and non-employee ), monthly reporting and analytics, trends analysis, productivity analysis, new investment impacts on labor costs, setting up control processes to manage to targets, diversity, corporate title reviews, location optimization, span of control analysis, new hire metrics, attrition ( voluntary and involuntary), benchmarking, labor strategy and organizational design.

* Critical success factors include focus on timeliness, accuracy and analytical capabilities – driving a culture of no surprises and meeting targets. Complete ownership of all things related to the E*TRADE Technology Labor Force

* The role will be expected to produce monthly analytics and presentations along with ad-hoc requests.

* Manage the creation of workforce Plans / Targets and lead staff directly or indirectly to drive performance, transparency, governance and accountability. Work with multiple organizations to produce information that is materially accurate and forward looking.

* Additionally – the role will be instrumental in implementing a view of labor costs across various technology initiatives and functions – by leveraging time tracking and working closely with Finance team to develop a standardized model.

* This role will work very closely with the internal Human Resources group, Finance, Procurement as well as the technology management team.

* Expected to be subject matter expert on all things related to workforce* Expert communications abilities and presentations skills – will be interacting with senior level management on a regular basis.



* Experience with management communications and reporting.

* Developing and maintaining key metrics for a large size organization with high quality written and presentation skills basic knowledge of IT management process frameworks proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint or other similar applications, and familiarity with business intelligence tools and related databases.

* Experience driving change through an organization by generating buy-in and consensus through multiple parties.

* Detail oriented and ability to think outside the box.

* Background: Bachelor’s degree from top-tier institution or experience equivalent, preferably in Accounting, MIS, Project Management or Finance and preferably an MBA in Finance, Accounting or Management.

* Knowledge of technology and/or operations in large institutions – detailed technical knowledge is not required.

* 7+ years overall experience in internal management communications and reporting, consulting or change management, preferably for IT organizations. * Strong working knowledge of data tools and ability to manipulate data into information. MS Office Suite, SharePoint, Business Objects ( or similar tool)
