RESPONSIBILITIES

ETRADE has a great opportunity to join our Operations team as an Operations Analyst based in Jersey City, NJ. You will be responsible for coordination of the client documentation and working with clients and brokers in our newly created Futures team.

Responsibilities:

● Reconcile daily futures margin calculation to the total position by contract type and unrealized gain/loss

● Monitoring posting activity related to derivative collateral holdings

● Calculate the daily gain/loss on futures contracts (market- to-market)

● Analyze when collateral is required for option trades, reconcile currency balances required for net forward settlement

● Prepare, review and analyze statistical data and reports

● Perform month end reconciliations

● Follow all established operating, risk, and compliance controls and standard operating procedures.

● Collaborate with E*TRADE Client Services to facilitate customer reach-out efforts

REQUIREMENTS

Basic Qualifications:

● 1-3 years of Financial Services Operations experience

● Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail

● Ability to handle multiple tasks as well as daily deliverables

● Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

● Demonstrated teamwork skills

● Effective verbal communication and ability to perform outbound phone calls to clients

● Able to work under pressure and time constraints with a sense of urgency

Education:

● Bachelor’s degree preferred. Candidate’s with an equivalent combination of education, training and professional experience will also be considered.
