ETRADE has a great opportunity to join our team as an Operations Supervisor based in Jersey City, NJ. You will be responsible for leading our newly created Futures team.


● Lead team that will perform the following tasks related to Futures activity:

o Account updates

o Coordination on wires with our clearing broker

o Determining margin calls

o Perform exercise and assignment processes during expiration

o Daily break investigation and resolution by working with the Operations Control team

o Oversight for statement delivery

● Follow all established operating, risk, and compliance controls and standard operating procedures

● Collaborate with E*TRADE Client Services to facilitate customer reach-out efforts


Basic Qualifications:

● Minimum 3 years of Financial Services Operations experience

● Experience working in the derivatives markets, language and products as well as understanding of regulatory requirements

● Knowledge and experience with futures and options on futures

● People and process management skills

● Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail

● Ability to handle multiple tasks as well as daily deliverables

● Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

● Basic GMI knowledge

● Demonstrated teamwork skills

● Effective verbal communication

● Able to work under pressure and time constraints with a sense of urgency


● Bachelor’s degree preferred. Candidate’s with an equivalent combination of education, training and professional experience will also be considered.
