RESPONSIBILITIES

E*TRADE’s Corporate Services (ETCS) is the leader in equity compensation administration for public and private corporations driving retail brokerage accounts and assets for E*TRADE Financial Corporation. We execute on this objective by providing a best-in-class administration platform, service excellence through our service delivery model, and a robust participant experience to integrate equity awards into an overall financial picture.

Our Summer Associate Program offers a unique experience for current University Students. We provide a three day enterprise wide in-depth orientation program with your peers to learn about E*TRADE’s business and infrastructure. Post the orientation, you will join a team in your office location and learn about creating customer first mobile experiences, work on product roadmaps, and be empowered to work cross-functionally to drive digital initiatives on E*TRADES’s mobile and web applications. Locations:

  • Alpharetta, GA

Responsibilities:

  • Support industry conference and event activities, including the creation of event show guides, creating private meeting schedules and drafting speaker information
  • Create and draft client and prospect hospitality events (sporting events, theater, concerts) schedule for 2019
  • Lead post event survey process, document results in PowerPoint and present findings to the organization
  • For new industry events identified, document the business case and ROI opportunity for sponsorship
  • Help lead the communications and speaker proposal process for industry events
  • Craft internal communications for events, announcements, event invitations, award programs, and other group deliverables
  • Order and deliver giveaways and collaterals for Sales and Relationship Management meetings
  • Maintain and organize event storage room and track inventory levels
  • Support marketing on communication and event planning needs
  • Provide needed reporting/metrics for events and communications effectiveness to determine ROI
REQUIREMENTS

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a BS or BA degree. Preferred degrees include Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Graduation date of Spring 2021 (currently a sophomore)
  • GPA: 3.0 or above
  • Knowledge and passion for events planning, marketing and communications
  • Proven teamwork skills to help deliver on-time product and project results
  • Authorization to work permanently in the US

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working in a team environment
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Ability to grasp new concepts quickly and efficiently
  • Excellent writing, presentation and communications skills.
  • Strong project management and organization skills
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative to solve problems; a self-starter
  • Very positive customer service attitude
  • Proficient PowerPoint presentation building and Excel basics
  • Ability to develop and deliver presentations for industry conferences
