E*TRADE’s Corporate Services (ETCS) is the leader in equity compensation administration for public and private corporations driving retail brokerage accounts and assets for E*TRADE Financial Corporation. We execute on this objective by providing a best-in-class administration platform, service excellence through our service delivery model, and a robust participant experience to integrate equity awards into an overall financial picture. This strategically important division is a key revenue driver of retail brokerage accounts and assets for E*TRADE Securities.

The Manager, Training will report into the Senior Manager, Corporate Services and is responsible for creating and driving the learning and education strategy for ETCS’ corporate clients and internal associates. This individual is an independent, results oriented leader who seeks innovative ways to bring learning to our clients and associates in a simple way. The Manager, Training will have a focus on driving client and internal user adoption of products and services offered, helping meet ROI metrics on business line investments. Additionally, this individual will help drive ETCS’ goal of thought leadership in the industry defining our external training and webinar learning series programs.


  • Develop and maintain the training program that supports all ETCS corporate clients and internal users to drive increase educational awareness of products and services
  • Identify new and innovative training and education platforms or tools to meet organizational training goals
  • Help define and document team processes, and continuously
  • Support Client, Participant, and Internal Associate training initiatives with the development of online courses and product release webinars
  • Serve as a contact with Corporate Services to identify and develop additions, updates, and changes to applicable Product training (webinars, new web-based training modules, etc.)
  • Oversee enhancements & maintenance of Learning Management System used for internal and external training
  • Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders & SMEs to ensure training is meeting expectations of internal and external users
  • Report on internal users participating in training
  • Contribute to the content in the departmental knowledge base
  • Support development of Client and Participant educational content
  • Maintain all material approvals for the purpose of audit


  • Three (3) to five (5) years of work experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience


  • Knowledge of equity compensation or other employee benefits (e.g. 401(k)) is a plus
  • Graphic Design capabilities preferred/plus
  • Experience with Captivate platform preferred
  • Experience with other related technologies and platforms: MS Office, Flash, Articulate, WebEx, web audio, Learning Management System (LMS) and other simulations technologies is a plus
  • Proven experience in curriculum development planning, creating effective facilitator and participant guides, and measuring on the job performance improvement following training
  • Knowledge of equity compensation is a plus
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with sensitivity to details and deadlines
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative to solve problems
  • Excellent customer service attitude and skills
