RESPONSIBILITIES

SUMMARY
The Operations Senior Manager will manage the Fraud Prevention and Detection teams, responsible for communicating to senior leaders on fraud related matters, for team leadership across different sites and for developing strategies on fraud management.

RESPONSIBILITIES
* Principal point of contact for fraud and operational related inquiries. Interface with ops senior management, ops risk, investigations, technology, model risk management, internal audit, regulators, vendors, and the like
* Provide guidance to managers, senior analysts and analysts when needed
* Assist team managers with investigations as needed
* Assist operations VPs in documentation regarding fraud losses required for control governance channels
* Assist operations VPs with reporting for senior management
* Ensure productivity, quality and service level agreements are met
* Identify and communicate new fraud scenarios and/or process gaps to management and help with testing new parameters within the detection systems
* Identify process improvement opportunities and deliver efficiencies
* Lead the creation and maintenance of internal procedures for review, research and investigation of cases
* Maintain understanding of operational business processes, policies and systems

REQUIREMENTS

REQUIREMENTS
* 5-7 years’ experience relevant to this position, ideally including fraud prevention/suspicious activity monitoring and knowledge of bank/brokerage operations
* Customer service experience is a plus
* Excellent communication and writing skills
* Strong analytical skills including ability to research, analyze and present findings
* Proven organizational skills and attention to detail
* Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Must be dynamic and a self-starter, able to work independently or as part of a team
* Ability to work in a high pressure environment

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, TRAINING
* Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in an area relevant to this position
