RESPONSIBILITIES

SUMMARY

This position is in strategic Global Operations with direct support of Payment Services, primarily consisting of wire processing, money market and bank sweeps, ACH processing, and Reg E processing. The role will include processes that support the bank & retail brokerage franchise and will interact with key outsource and third-party service providers. The associate will need expertise with dealing with client escalations for sweeps and cash settlements, domestic & international wires and check clearing, ACH, debit card and check disbursements. This role requires high attention to detail and working under strict deadlines to support the various products.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Additional responsibilities and oversight will include but not be limited to the following:

· Money market/FDIC sweep inquiries and settlement

· In-clearing check and Check deposit settlement

· Check adjustments such as encoding errors and duplicate deposit and presentments

· Processing domestic, international and foreign currency wires

· ACH funds transfers and settlements

· Reg E disputes

· Communicating to internal business partners and service groups

· Maintaining established service levels

· Meeting targeted productivity thresholds and benchmarks

· Providing metrics to Management

· Working on departmental projects and initiatives

· Data Management

· Data Entry

Position may require some OT and will report directly into the department manager.

REQUIREMENTS
  • REQUIREMENTS

    MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE

    • 2+ years of back office operational experience, preferably in the financial banking industry
    • Experience with rules and regulations governing bank and brokerage
    • Experience with processing domestic and international wires and in-clearing checks

    DESIRED EXPERIENCE

    • Strong written and oral communication skills
    • Strong analytical skills including ability to research, schedule, analyze and present findings
    • Proven organizational skills with attention to detail
    • Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Access, etc.)
    • Must be a dynamic and self-starting individual, able to work independently or as part of a team
    • Excellent teamwork, communication and partnering skills
    • Ability to work on multiple initiatives simultaneously as well as remaining focused on task at hand

    EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, TRAINING

    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in an area relevant to this position
    • Ability to work in a high pressure and dynamic environment
    • Ability to work overtime as needed to maintain required deadlines and service levels
