This position is in Deposit Operations in Payment Services, which primarily consists of check deposit and stock certificate processing. The role will have a targeted emphasis in check processing, stock certificate booking and research and solution that support the bank & retail brokerage franchise and will interact with key outsource and third-party service providers. The associate will need expertise with dealing with client escalations for deposits into their accounts, stock certificate booking and mobile application for check deposits. This role requires high attention to detail and working under strict deadlines to support the various deposit products and check processing.


  • Additional responsibilities and oversight will include but not be limited to the following:
  • Check deposit processing
  • Stock certificate processing
  • Account research and resolution
  • Manual credit postings for failure to post transactions
  • Communicating to internal business partners and service groups
  • Maintaining established service levels
  • Meeting targeted productivity thresholds and benchmarks
  • Providing metrics to Management
  • Working on departmental projects and initiatives
  • Data Management
  • Data Entry


  • 2+ years of back office operational experience, preferably in the financial banking industry
  • Experience with check deposit processing
  • Experience with processing of stock certificates


  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills including ability to research, schedule, analyze and present findings
  • Proven organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Access, etc.)
  • Must be a dynamic and self-starting individual, able to work independently or as part of a team
