RESPONSIBILITIES

SUMMARY

The Designated Brokerage Specialist (DBS) maintains client relationships by providing excellent customer service and operational ongoing support. The DBS role as a point of contact for all client related inquiries includes, but is not limited to, handling inbound and outbound calls generated by and for Designated Brokerage (DB) clients. DBS offer clients a personal connection to E*TRADE, and help them achieve their compliance monitoring goals through automated reporting and tools.

RESPONSIBILITES

  • Manages client communications regarding service, trade research, problem resolution, processing issues, and education on the service and reporting file content
  • Acts as a point of contact and key liaison to develop strong relationships with the corporate client
  • Promotes the E*TRADE brand and DB service offering to clients to strengthen account retention
  • Partners with DB Management on various engagements such as; new client introductory presentations, existing client outreach initiatives; participation with promotion of the B2B service model
  • Provides quality service to both internal and external customers
  • Responds to and initiates inquiries to other groups within the organization to resolve and/or assist with client related situations and services
  • Provides back-up support to other group members in the performance of job duties as required
  • Recommends operational and product solutions to increase the accuracy, efficiency and responsiveness of the DB service offering
  • Performs ad-hoc reports and duties as assigned by management
  • Adheres to all corporate policies, guidelines and statutory requirements and recommends to DB Management adoption and/or changes to policies and guidelines to reflect changes within the industry

REQUIREMENTS

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 2-3 years’ experience in the financial services industry, preferably with a focus on compliance and relationship management
  • Excellent Englush communication skills; both oral and written
  • Ability to effectively plan, organize, and manage projects in a fast paced, changing environment
  • Creativity, flexibility and attention to detail
  • Strong judgment skills and business sense
  • FINRA Series 7 & 63 licenses required

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Positive and professional relationship management skills
  • Independent decision-making skills, sound judgment and business sense
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Sound understanding of the securities industry
  • Adaptable and well organized to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient with Salesforce, ETRADE Systems, and MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Amenable to work on US hours
